Vegetable Monsters don't understand any language and are, in fact, mute themselves. They can be communicated with gestures and they do their best to inform them that as long as they don't plan on eating them (they will even use a rake to demonstrate a fork!!) they are free to take a look around. They are clever in the ways of gesture communicating and will inform they only attack people in the fear of being eaten (with the help of onions helping them make sniffly).

Should they then explore the farm, they will find a lot of vegetable seeds wrapped in leaves waiting for a good time to be planted and some large rice bags that they have no use for and will offer to their new guests.

But also an entrance to a cellar that is fiercely protected by sentient corn.
