The ghost reluctantly leaves them be, but makes sure to draw an arrow pointing south (by possessing a dead stick). It seems there is something in south the ghost would have wanted them to check out but it leaves back into the forest after drawing its guide.

If they follow the arrow they will find a treasure chest hidden under the snow.
