(Hijikata is a little scared, but he was a death mage on Avalon, and he doesn't want to look like a wuss in front of his fellow knight!) It seems to be approximately a 2-day trip there on foot, so they'll rent a snow mobile to hopefully cut that time in half. They'll bring along whatever fuel it needs, warm extra clothes, sleeping bags, blankets, provisions... they're used to long treks through the wilderness, so they'll be thorough in their preparations.
