The Nautilus monster still has two (2) pieces of the orb so it doesn't chase them. Instead it will let the leave. Even the dangerous thing lurking in the maze on the roof will leave them be because of their choice.

Once they get out of the ruins the door will close and the Sudoku from before will have disappeared. For now, it seems the location is temporarily closed again for a while.

The Unicorn Elephant seems to have woken up and left, too. Safe travels home, travelers!
