They have solved the puzzle! So the door opens, leading them to the next room and there are stairs going up. Gravity resets once the door is closed behind them, making it possible for them to just walk the stairs like normal.

They will find a room full of crates and barrels when they get up. It seems like a storage. There's another door at the end of the room.
