At the beginning of that hallway, there are 5 shields. They're made of wood, metal, glass, leaves and ice. Once two of them have been removed from the stands, none of the others will budge, so choose carefully! There's nothing extra about these shields for now.
Once they have made their decisions, the hallway leads to a room full of projectiles raining from several directions. Most of them are magical (fire, ice, lightning) but there are some regular metallic arrows and bullets in the mix. The projectiles alternate and whenever one of them changes there's a five second pause on any of them.
