Thank you mods! I did an interest check post and I think we're good on having sufficient people to help with this, so wanted to run some potential specifics by y'all. Here's the tentative plan, subject of course to your modifications and approval:
+ Saya and co will do a series of 6 total fetch quests to gather materials. I wrote up a proposed list of Magic McGuffin Ingredients for your perusal which can be found here! I tried to incorporate the general vibe of each segment based on the bestiary, maps, and quests as well as include a bunch of different skill sets so there is plenty of need for diverse CR. Random encounters will be from the existing bestiary. VERY OPEN TO ALTER THESE so you all are comfortable! I'm sure y'all have way better ideas this is not my strength but I tried adlkfjslg
+ After gathering the first 4-ish items, the magic-scientists ICly will come up with a medicine (potion or infusion) and try it. It will fail and there will be Consequences!
+ Then the last items will be gathered to try and tweak the medicine. It will also fail but there will be different Consequences.
+ The medicine will be tweaked a third time based on existing data and materials, and then will succeed.
+ I expect all this to take place over approximately 5-8 months depending on the speed at which we can get things done. I don't want to interfere with people being able to participate in other game things at all so I am flexible.
