The electricity hits the demon and deals damage! It retaliates by spewing a mix of eroding poison and fire towards Reiner, but also towards the ceiling above Jean and Hijikata (the horns spew into two directions) to bring pieces of it down on them.

Hijikata manages to get rid of the piece of tail, officially freeing Jean.
