Oh phew! Looks like they'll be able to pull Xingchen out, and make a dash toward the end of the hallway where the light is coming from!

(Looks like at least Rider and Xingchen are just going to get Octopi hair friends to accompany them for the rest of the quest... it's fine, Rider's used to having snakes for hair, this can't be much different, right?

...They'll have to find some water for them once its done, they'll probably want to keep them!)
