Knocking actually does have an effect!
A distant voice says "Hmm? Visitors
at this hour
?"
But no one comes to the door. It's just the voice in the distance. It's also extremely hard to say what gender or age the voice is. It's just A Voice.
Do they still want to go in or do something else?
