Oh no, their biggest weakness: fire. They do indeed burn and just the roses remain. In fact any fire that touches the roses doesn't affect them. On closer look, the roses are made of gemstones and they just have the scent of roses. Without the body, they're harmless and collectable.

From the center there are there ways to go. Back where they came from, the opposite way to (exit A) the other side of the island, and north, where a huge building towers over the city.
