Due to two switches being clicked, the golden statues on the right side of the hallway turn into liquid gold, pouring onto the hallway and towards Nia and Ruby. It's hot (but not as hot as lava) and it turns everything it touches into gold.

The platforms the statues were on (now golden) remain in their place and are safe to use to jump over the golden mess.

The statues on the left side remain normal.
