Nothing will happen, however, if the treasure chest remains untouched. But it can't be opened without touching it, even with magic. Otherwise it's unlocked.

If the treasure chest is touched in any way - or opened straight up - that will trigger the door to try and close down, and even before it starts to close the room starts to fill with icy water.
