They manage to stay incognito. The monsters here are very indifferent about regular animals; they only rarely attack them. However, they don't find anything that would cause the voice, but it does get louder the further north they go. It seems whatever is causing the noise can't be seen through regular means.

They do, however, find camp of Cherry Squirrels. They're friendly critters who are pink and collect various fruit and nuts wherever they can find. The area around them smells strongly like different forest berries and it has a very calming effect. Almost too calming.

If they end up inhaling too much of the scent, they will relax and fall asleep. But in the morning they will wake up extremely rested - like they slept for a full night. The Squirrels have also left them fresh fruit and nuts on a leaf before leaving.

If they continue, the Squirrels will leave them alone.
