They would need to do a bit of a Indiana Jones stunt to get there, but it's possible.

Down there is a room with ten empty beds. A few of them seem more freshly "used", but otherwise they've been left abandoned for a good while. There's also traces of blood around the room.

There also seems to be a hatch on the floor that goes down. It opens without too much of a problem.
